Resources for Proctors and Tutors

A non-exhaustive list of resources for BGLTQ+ Undergraduates at Harvard College

All Proctors and Tutors are encouraged to reach out to the Office of BGLTQ Student Life for support when supporting BGLTQ+ students.

You may email the BGLTQ Office to be added to BGLTQ+ Proctor and Tutor Slack Group.

Proctors and Tutors are also able to apply to the BGLTQ Office for funding for up to $500 per academic year per house. The process is as follows:

  1. Contact the BGLTQ Office to have your event/expense pre-approved
  2. Talk to your house administrator to make sure you have funding remaining. Each house gets $500 per year, and the Yard gets $1000. Get your event expenses paid or reimbursed by your admin.
  3. Your house admin should email Bridget Duffy a 33-digit code and proof that said expenses are on that 33 digit code. Bridget will move the money from the BGLTQ Office budget to the House as necessary.
