After careful consideration and collecting interviews from students, faculty, and staff, we are extremely proud to launch the BGLTQ at Harvard Visinility Campaign. We wanted to organize a photo campaign that not only highlighted but celebrated the diversity of Harvard's BGLTQ campus community, particularly individuals who are underrepresented or often overlooked by the public eye. While some participants had their portrait taken for the campaign, others sent in photos of objects that are meaningful to them; there are many ways of being "out," whatever that may mean to each person. We hope that this is the first of several waves of the campaign, and that we can showcase many ways of being a BGLTQ individual on Harvard's campus.
If you are interested in being part of our campaign, please fill out this survey. You may answer as few or as many of the questions as you like; even a two-sentence answer is welcome! However, please keep in mind that due to the number of submissions, we may not be able to create a poster for all individuals who complete the survey.
