The Harvard University Chaplains are a diverse group of people from different religious and faith traditions. They are a resource for the entire Harvard community, including BGTLQ+ students.
The Chaplains listed below all agree with the following statements:
- I believe that LGBTQ+ people should be able to be ordained in my tradition
- I would perform the marriage ceremony of an LGBTQ+ couple
- I do not believe that same-gender sexual activity is inherently immoral or sinful
- I believe that there are a diversity of genders, and that some people are designated at birth with a gender that does not correspond to their true gender.
- I support transgender and gender-non-conforming people in pursuing gender-affirming care.
