What does identifying (or not identifying) with the BGLTQ community mean to you?

It means being part of a community that supports, includes, advocates, and evolves. It's a community I am proud to be a part of - in the celebration and in the fight.

What advice would you give to yourself when you were an undergraduate?

If I could go back in time - give yourself grace. There is no right way to be, beyond finding and loving the authentic "you." Finding and loving the authentic "you" can take time and it often requires courage, but it is worth it. Surround yourself with people who support you.
