As One: An Opera

Please join the Office of BGLTQ Student Life, PBHA, and Trans Task Force for a performance of As One, a one-act, 75-minute opera about a transgender woman’s journey to make peace with herself, loosely based on the life of Kimberly Reed. As One has become the most-performed new opera in America today since its premiere at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in 2014.

Location: Longy School of Music (27 Garden St, about three blocks before you reach the Quad)
Date: Friday, January 26, 8 - 9:30PM (meet in front of the Longy School of Music at 7:45PM)

We have 20 free tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please RSVP here to indicate your interest in a ticket.
Stick around after the show as we speak with David Topping, Field Director for Freedom for All Massachusetts, about the campaign to preserve MA’s transgender-inclusive public accommodation laws, which is currently the subject of a repeal effort scheduled to be voted on the November 2018 elections.
