Who has the authority to create and curate knowledge? Why is academic merit granted to some but not others? How does our identity affect what we decide to study? What respectability politics are at play in academic fields? In this dialogue we will unpack the privileges, challenges, and social perceptions associated with studying different academic fields at Harvard. With controversial speakers such as Charles Murray being invited to campus, we invite you to join us for a peer-to-peer conversation about the intersections between knowledge, identity, and power.
First 10 eligible RSVPs will receive $10 UberEats food credit following the event!
