What does identifying (or not identifying) with the BGLTQ community mean to you?

It is a key part of my identity, especially in today's world. I spent many years closeted or quiet, and, now as a parent, I find it more important than ever to build community for myself and for my family.

What advice would you give to yourself when you were an undergraduate?

Listen, learn, hold tight to your friends.
