Shane serves as the Graduate Fellow for the BGLTQ Office. When he isn't Proctoring in Mass Hall (#unicorns) or running off to class at HGSE, he's nestled in the QuOffice planning Lavender Graduation and helping to coordinate office communications. He is proudly from southwestern Colorado and identifies as a first-generation-to-college, low income QPOC. His interests lie in the intersections of identity, education, popular culture, and social justice. As a Prevention Science and Practice student, Shane is working to think about intervention or prevention initiatives that help promote holistic wellness in historically oppressed communities.
