It is with mixed emotions that I announce I’ve accepted a position as Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Dean of the Center for Diversity & Inclusion at Washington University in St. Louis. This new position will allow me to continue the work I’ve loved so much here at Harvard College while expanding my professional experience and level of responsibility. My last day at Harvard College will be Oct. 20.
I write with an update on staffing changes at the Office of BGLTQ Student Life. As you may know, Van Bailey, the inaugural Director of BGLTQ Student Life, accepted a position at the University of Miami in June 2016. We plan to launch a national search for a full-time director in the Fall with significant input from students, staff, and faculty.
Every other year HUHS sends out a Health Assessment Survey to all undergraduate students at Harvard. We usually have a response rate of about 30%. This year we want to achieve an even higher rate and we need your help.
Last week all College students should have received an email with the link to take the survey. It takes about 15-20 minutes to complete and everyone who completes the survey receives a $5 J.P.Licks gift card.
