Update from the BGLTQ Office

March 27, 2020

Dear Students,

I hope each and every one of you is healthy and managing as well as you can as we adapt to these new circumstances. You have been in my thoughts and my advocacy. I'm writing with an update on what QuOffice programming and outreach will look like for the remainder of the semester.

QuOffice Hours: Even though our physical office is closed, Stone and I are now holding office hours virtually. Most importantly, we are still here and available to support you. If you would like to connect with one of us, please don't hesitate to reach out by email or schedule a meeting. To schedule a meeting with me, click hereTo schedule a meeting with Stone, click here

Upcoming events: Next week will see the return of some of our staple programs and services, including Qoffee with Quinterns, Take a Break, and the QuWeekly. First up, this Tuesday March 31 we'll be hosting a Netflix viewing party in recognition of International Trans Day of Visibility. Stay tuned for details about time and film. We're thinking creatively about how to keep the community connected and accessible through our programming. For now, keep an eye on our calendar of events to stay up to date.

Resources: In future QuWeekly newsletters, we'll highlight online communities, webseries, movies, and other resources for and/or by BGLTQ people. We also invite you to share resources you know about with us at BGLTQ@fas.harvard.edu. I want to share two right now: Trans Lifeline, a peer support line staffed by and for trans people (http://translifeline.org/); and an article with self-care tips offered by non-binary people

Stay in touch, stay tuned, and take very good care of yourselves.
