Please join us on Monday, April 23 for an event centering queer experience within the context of religion, culture, and nationality. Facilitated by Dr. Leena Akhtar, Lecturer in WGS and the History of Science, and Nicole le Roux, youth development worker and storytelling expert, this event will be a multi-generational opportunity for exchanging stories between older and younger folks within the BGLTQ+ community.

We extend a warm invitation to graduate and professional students, faculty, and undergraduates who would like to share their experiences navigating being queer and from different religious, cultural, and/or national backgrounds.

This event will utilize a storytelling format. Attendees are welcome to participate and share, or to simply come and listen. Dinner will be provided. Please RSVP here by Thursday, April 18th.
